Only matched two numbers on three of twenty tickets...not even close. Oh well, life is still good. Aches and pains have healed and I'm walking again, prolly go for a bike ride later...Fifteen year old cat is still hanging on, even though he can't hear much and now lets our female cat boss him around...he used to fight with her all the time.

With your face? Cuz, until you break off a fence post with your face, you are a distant Cbid second.

And if you do, you still are in second place.

I guess you might have to break a fence post off with your Wang to win this category, actually....

My cat is awesome. But I don't really get so emotionally vested in animals that I'll break the bank for them, ya know? I spent $88.50 today, and if she's not better in the 24-48 that he gave us, or gets worse, I'll only be spending $98 more to end her suffering.

She's 16 years old, and as callous as it may sound, I'm not going to spend hundreds of dollars to keep her around for another year or two. Especially since her quality of life will be crappy. She can go out gracefully, and peacefully.

To spend money to extend an older pets life, especially when the quality of life would not be so good, is foolish. And at that point are you doing it for them, or for you?

I guess my view is more pragmatic than emotional.

Lets wait until the kid is past puberty and rational.

That way I'll at least have the guys in my corner...

Ok. Good choice.

Both of those people much prefer dogs to people. I've kept your cover in place. If they knew you sent your last kitty to the coyotes, the welcome mat would have a 50/50 chance (maybe better) of being pulled.

I think what macs is saying is actually the kindest and most thoughtful thing for the cat (other than the money driven part) and at some point should be applied to humans as well. To crack a 97 year olds chest open to prolong life might not be the best thing. At a minimum it should be part of the decision making process.
