Made a good score. Just picked up 3 fivers of La Perla Maduros Churchills for $7.00 each. They ain't Tats, Illusions or Patrons but for a little over a buck each, I'm not complaining. 🇨🇮 8

ANY time you can find/score a cigar that you like for close to a dollar?
WIN!
I used to have ONE that fell into that category...................but it was "discovered" a few years back, and now pretty much always sells for $2+ here.
And, now that it's at that price point.......there's many others I'd pick over it for $2 to $3.

I would figure if it's good enough at a dollar, it's good enough at 2 :)

well................no......not really.
It was a good yard gar at $1 and a little change.
It now sells for twice that, even more sometimes.
For that money, there are better cigars imo.

My point was that it is rare that you find something worth smoking at a dollar, except maybe a handful of cigarillos.

So if you were able to get it for 1, it was probably good enough for 2.

There's very few cigars I like that I can get for $2 though...

Maybe it was different back in the day... I have no idea who this DP Newell was, before my time... only hear of his legend.

I do pretty well for my self though on my cheap smokes... my win/loss ratio is right there with the Cleveland Browns.

I scored a few for a buck this last week and I'm now at capacity. Not much out there that's good for a buck any more, unless you get lucky.
