How would it effect cigars to have canabis stored n the same humidor? Or how would the cigars and humidification change the canabis?

Hypothetically of course.🇨🇮

Specifically not answering your question, and I'm sure this will sound hilariously naive, but I met a friend of a friend over the summer. He enjoys the herb, and I know virtually nothing about it. I began quizzing him over storage, humidity control, etc. Not being a cigar guy he looked at me like I was insane. Kept his week in a tool box in his garage in Austin, TX.

Hypothetically . . . Odor would be the only effect medicinal cannabis would have on your cigars of stored in the same humidor.
Medicinal cannabis would get moldy quite quickly at 60%+ humidity.
Refrigerate, or keep in a cool place where there is no light.
Refrigeration makes medicinal cannabis sweeter smelling.

This will keep your medicinal cannabis both fresh and potent for a very long time.

. . . medicinally speaking of course.

Like storing Acids with your Fuentes.

Don't do it.

The sticky Icky is fine at a drier RH% compared to cigars.

Keep it drier, much drier.

Don't mix the two.

Boveda does make a pack specific to this purpose.

It is not recommended to store in a refrigerator for a long period of time as it can introduce moisture. It can also effect how it burns. Storing in a cool, dry (<60% rH), dark area is best. You can use a separate humidor but you'll never get the smell out. For storage consider a mason jar, a tight-sealed plastic canister, or a humijar.

This is only what I've heard BTW.

Trolly, I actually dislike it quite a bit. You don't have to like something to know about it.

yeah........and I quit smoking it back in 1981........so there

But I do eat high CBD medical edibles when my IBS flairs up..........something I've been dealing with since I've been a kid.
And NOTHING works even remotely as good as edible cannabis for calming down inflamed intestines......................nothing!

I get fuggin hostile when I hear jackholes talking shyte about medical cannabis, that it's all about people wanting to get stoned.
That's not what it's about for MANY folks with a variety of health issues.
It most definitely has it's place. And, they're discovering new uses, and it is gaining wider acceptance in the medical and research community.
Fortunately, my IBS can disappear for several years.............but sometimes I can have 2 or 3 flair-ups in a year......and I'd be screwed without herbal relief.

I know someone who uses it for their severely ADHD teenager and CBD oil has worked better than any pills with much fewer side effects.

I don't hate other people using it necessarily, I personally dislike a lot

I've had to pee in a lil cup more often than my peers for my vocal support of alternative medicine when our system had failed its customers.

Had a physician side with me on getting marinol added to our pharmacy formulary, the hospital fought it but we won. Has been wonderful for patients that failed our first and second line treatments.

An unfortunate side effect is that I've been "randomly" selected to pee in a cup about once a year. Currently overdue, last one was January '15.

Guess my high school nickname of "pisstest" sticks around forever. (never ever positive for anything) Was tested over a dozen times in my 2 years of high school.

My previous employer (same business) I knew the owner. They had to test us frequently for them to get a fleet insurance discount and keep the hospital that we were apart of satisfied. We had to guys that would have lit that up like a damn Christmas tree that NEVER got tested. I used to get tested at least 4 times a year.

At least she trusted me I guess.

I knew refrigeration caused the trichomes to get brittle and break off affecting the potency. The hypothetical humidor is kept at RH 66, is a 400 count and is full. So really the smell and mold would be the only problems negatives . I understand it seems to burn more evenly at a higher humidity I'm assuming it's due to the how low the humidity is where it's being smoked? Would the storage help smooth out the flavor profile like it does cigars?

I found a CBD marshmallow that let me sleep through the night without taking heavy sedatives for the first time in years .

If the hypothetical humidor is kept at RH 66, is a 400 count and is full, then one could assume a very small quantity of flower is being stored with the cigars. Unless a large quantity of flower is being stored for a long period, don't worry about it. There will be some residual smell when opening the humi, but a small quantity will not effect a 400ct humi full of cigars.

However, a small quantity of flower may be effected by an overwhelming ratio of tobacco being stored and could effect the taste of the flower, not to mention what flavors the cedar may impart. Plus 66%rH is too high for said flower product. It will be too wet and not burn effeciently even if using a vape. The best storage method is in glass around 50-60%rh. The trichome residual is easy to clean and recycle off glass, whereas the trichomes will stick to a plastic container or ziplock bag. Many collect the keif and press it or mix it with flower when rolling. The keif is best at a low temp (no direct flame) when rolled or vaped. Glass won't absorb any odor either. Many even suggest storing different strains separately.

The days of keeping it your old 35mm tin or plastic film containers are gone. Best to keep it separated from your cigars, and in glass.

Note the oils, tinctures, and waxes are also usually stored in a dark glass, and also recommended to be stored in a cool (around 55-65°), dry, dark space.

This is just what I've heard and read from living in the mtns. I have no direct knowledge and can not confirm any suggestions. In the end, it's bad for you. Stay away. Just say NO.
