Are all Torpedo cigars rolled with the pointed end? I have had the most problem with Draw of this type.

Personally, I have not had this problem limited to torpedoes. In fact, very few of the torpedoes I have smoked had this problem so I suspect that, in your case at least, it is a problem related to the particular brand of torpedoes you are smoking. You might consider switching to a different brand. Incidentally, they are called torpedoes because they resemble those thingies that subs use to sink ships. They thetefpre, have to be tapered to be called torpedoes.

And then there are perfectos.

How are you cutting them? If you cut too narrow it will choke your draw, you want to cut about midway to 3/4 of the cap. Be careful not to overdo it or you will cut into the wrapper and it may unravel.

I've never had an issue with a plugged torpedo. It's usually one of the higher quality styles because it takes good rollers to produce them. Perfectos and Torpedos are generally one of my favorite styles because of their consistency.

Box pressed NUB Cameroon torpedo drew easily. Mild strength too so as a N00b might be a good one.

Some guys "burn out" their taste buds going right for the pepper bombs or other strong leaf.

Fact: Torpedos and Belicosos are rolled by the best torcedors in the factory.

I just don't care for the shape.

Read post #7. Only time cut longer if the draw gets hard while smoking as some cigars can and will do.

Torps,perfecto's and belicoso's ........I always use the "D1ck Cut".Google it,it gives you nice air flow without cutting so high up the head you damage the cap causing it to unravel.

Here's a lousy pic......why they use a parejo to demonstrate the cut is beyond me.On a taper cigar cut at a more extreme angle than pictured here.I cut at about 45 degrees....somertimes more depending on the length of the tapered head.
