40 year career.
One year later . . . well, let me just say, I highly recommend retirement ![gofishin]

That is fantastic! It took me over a year to finally relax and believe I was actually retired. I cannot recall how long it has been since I felt this generally happy, retirement is fantastic!
I highly recommend retirement ![gofishin]

My wife is gonna retire in July and, God willing, I hope to do the same a year later.
Damn Im jealous of you guys... but yknow what?
AT LEAST I STILL HAVE MY HAIR, HEARING AND EYESIGHT.
I've got 42 years to go.
If I keep my ducks in line so I can retire at 50-55... Im still looking at 20-25 years.

I still have my hair, hearing, and eyesight (mostly). Not a lot of gray, either, but I suspect when I hit 54-55 it will be.
My dad was lucky enough to retire at 53 and he's 71 now. Always says his "work" week is 6 Saturdays and a Sunday. I've still got about 18yrs to go.
