Is it wrong?

I always took the kids out rabbit hunting on Easter when I fell in the month of March.

The season ends on the 31st.

Here comes Peter Cottontail, Hopping down the bun BANG

That's why me and my buddy didn't hunt my property a few weeks ago, he was already finding small unborn bunnies, we sure wore them out until then though. They are good eating, and every last weekend of July we have a big critter cooking to clean out the freezer, YUM

Never wrong to hunt while in season.

It's hard to beat a good rabbit chase with the beagles lighting up the woods.

Do you tree the bunnies with the dogs and shoot them out of it, or just light the tree on fire, with foiled potatoes and stuff around the bottom?

its only legal to shoot them on the wing, never sitting in the tree.

^^^ all good logical posts...

I've been a hunter all my life ...and have harvested

well over a hundred or two ? rabbits....

at least 6 doubles....but all in the fall or early january

short winter seasons...

We had two rabbit beagles and my grandfather owned 3-4 hunting beagles his whole life and had

big kennels w/ long runs in N.E. Philly from the 1920's - 60's.... many double FOX STERLINGWORTH shotguns handed down over the generations...

But.... rabbit hunting in March is unheard of

in Pennsylvania....historical precidence forms my

first response....

Rabbit hunting in western Oregon doesn't exist. Too many cougars. We have em' but not plentiful enough to successfully find any. Eastern Oregon has an abundance of them but it's open high desert where they're at.

Had a blast rabbit hunting in Nevada once, but you had a split second to blast em between the sage bushes.

I'd love to wabbit hunt with grandpa Chuck.

out in the desert we call them in with coyote calls. We hunt them with bows. Any hunt is a good hunt.
