You pay to water it, pay to fertilize it, pay to kill the bugs in it and then you pay to mow it, I don't get the need for grass lawns. Except for a few day out of the year, most of them look like crap. To each his own.
I gave away my last rotary mower. I have no grass, I mowed acres of it as a kid, one yard at a time. Just trees and one flowerbed around the house. I do have a great Echo chainsaw, the biggest Stihl backpack blower and a Stihl string trimmer with the bicycle handlebar. If you have back trouble, weed wacking is a pain, the wide handles help.
