Take her for a Gondola ride at Caesar's. Eat at one of the many fine Italian restaurants, then stop by Casa Fuente for a cigar and Mojita as a night-cap.

It's fairly close.

Did Ceasar stay there ?

I don't think I can take her to Ceasar's for a gondola ride but I think the Venetian might let us . I think you can half way read my mind I've been wanting a good Italian meal for a while . Thanks .

It's been over a year since I've been there and memory isn't so great, but you got the jist of it.

Any good Italian restaurant should offer plenty of seafood entrés including lobster and more importantly oysters.

The important point was Casa Fuente at Ceasra's for a cigar and Mojito as a nightcap. Dinner for her, and a nice Opus paired with their signature hand-muddled Mojitos.

There also Andre's. A French-style restaurant, and with a nice cigar lounge featuring "rare Cognac, Scotch Whiskey, Single Malt Scotch, Armagnac and extremely coveted cigars". Not too much further away from the Venetian. Since you're staying at Hard Rock, Planet Hollywood is also close to Andre's at the Monte Carlo. Palama may have even visited Andre's recently.

The wife and I went to Mario Batali's in the Palazzo with a few friends. It is pricey... we had the ribeye for two and that alone was $120.

It was a very, very good steak/meal but not worth the coin, IMO, and the staff was kinda right on top of you... awkward like. One of our party got up to use the restroom and someone swooped in and covered his plate.

Lawrys steakhouse is right down the street. The fancy Hawaiian place is within a building or two also. If she's not a keeper, terribles casino and restaurant is across the street.

Thanks for all the suggestions. It was last minute and with no reservations. We ended up going to Aliz'e at the Palms I was able to get a reservation for a good table . They do an a la cart menu and also have a tasting menu . We had the tasting menu the food was great , the service was impeccable, and the view was incredible. Our reservation was for 6:30 we had just been served our dessert when the sun started going down . The sunset was over the Las Vegas strip and the mountains. If you go bring your wallet but not your wine the corkage fee is $50 a bottle . It's definitely a $$$$$ restaurant .

Andre's is on the list for next week.

I just had dessert a few minutes ago .

Missed this but when I was in Vegas about this time last year we ate at B&B in the Venetian and was highly let down. There was 4 of us and I forget what the bill was at the end but it wasn't cheap and all 4 of us left hungry like we never even ate. Food tasted decent from what I remember but portions were so small everything should have been on the appetizer menu. I wouldn't recommend.

How much does it cost a hillbilly from Virginia for a "date' in Vegas?
