Used to be a clear glass mug with a local area bank name on it. Had 2, one split in half a couple of years ago- should have saved it for when I just wanted half a cup, but I lost interest.

As you wander on through life my friend,

no matter what be your goal,

keep your eye upon the donut,

and not upon the hole.

Same one since I was about 18/19, I'm 61.

Dark brown almost a metalflake finish with a white glaze inside.

Holds 8/10 oz

No markings

Stolen from Don Roths Steakhouse in Wheeling IL.

Really don't know how or why I still have it, surprised I haven't broke it after all these years, not even a chip.

Old familier friend now...

Love it!!! Longest I've ever been able to keep a daily user is 10 years or so. I like "pinch" mugs with handles. That way you can grab the mug in the pinch to warm your hands in the winter or use the handle in warmer weather. My work mug is a 16+ ouncer pottery mug from the USDGC, and come to think of it, it has probably ten years on it.

Stainless steel, 24 oz, from a local shop, Malabar coffee, with their logo, about 5 years old, no dings, but dull surface due to using dish washer.

My 20 oz Gurkha mug, for two reasons . . .

1. It was a gift from Bur, and

2. My Kuerig only fills it a little past halfway, so it forces me to take the time to "perc" a full pot.

Honorable mention : My Dunkin Donuts 12oz "tall boy".

Seeing your reply I've been pondering just what else I may be using on a regular basis for a long time. Things of my own.

I still have some pocket knives of my own, my dads and grandpas but I don't use them, they sit in my uncles old desk humidor with some other memories. Same with most of my firearms, really not used anymore. The ones I use I have bought "recently".

I still use my Leyat Swiss made snips that I bought in '75 regularly as well as my heavy spade and shovel (I grew up as a Landscape Contractor, we had a small Nursery as well) also the lamp I made in Jr. High wood-shop, it's here on my desk.

Those are what I still use on a regular or somewhat regular basis.

Don't want to thread jack but this made me think some and recall some great memories.

Thread jack off!

I uh, well... collect tea cups and saucers. I have too many favorites. Current is a mug with shades of blue, with a raised word in white (TEA)

and NO... I don't need more tea cups. Ask Queenie.

Have several favorites for coffee, and different ones for tea. Depends on the mood that day.

2 favorites came free from my old B&M.

Dark green clear glass U-haul credit union mug from 1983, holds 10-12 oz. All the writing and logo has all but worn off, can't tell what it used to look like or say.

I have a couple of other faves but this has been my daily drinker for 33 years.

Been using a 16oz. with a picture of Grumpy on one side & the words "Don't mess with me until I finish my coffee". It was given to me about 15 years ago by my employees.

They told me they all chipped in 50 cents each to buy it & it fit me well. None of them wanted to be left out but none would own up to who actually made the purchase, so I just fired them all!!!! (No not really).

I don't have a specific favorite.

I'm just sure to steer clear of those cheap Chinese mugs they sell in da 'Sip.

One of my coworkers has a coffee mug I want.

It's brown, and in white letters it says, "When this cup is empty, it's time to poop."

And ashamed to admit I haven't used one of the 30 FREAKING MUGS I WON yet. FML, gonna have to now. I think I'm down to six left after breakage, gifts, selling a few at a garage sale. Well, my wife selling a few, but at a profit so not too peezzed off.

A "Kabul Harley-Davidson" mug from Afghanistan with "Bur" (my biker nickname and handle here) on it. Really doubt it's an approved Harley logo item but I don't care. Well seasoned since 2012 when I got it while doing some contract work there.

To be perfectly honest, my favorite mug at any given time is whichever one contains coffee. I'd rather have an undersized, broken handled, lead lined, POS mug with a BYU logo, full of coffee, than a large handled, full size, glazed ceramic BSU Broncos mug that's empty, or worse, filled with soy milk.
