only 15 spots on a roster.

Trader Danny needs to find a taker for some of these picks (they have a ton more between now and 2020) for a "transcendent" player in return, like when he got Ray Allen for picks and that convinced Kevin Garnett to come here. Result was one title, and a shot at two others.

The picks themselves won't accomplish the goal.

And in the NBA draft, unlike the NFL draft... there are really only half a dozen to a dozen players in any draft that are going to come in and be good right away.

not only is that true, but those special players may not all be top 10 picks.

Oh I imagine they'll trade at least 3 picks.

I would hope so, but no one wanted any last year so they couldn't move up in the draft. And there are very few "transcendent" stars available for a blockbuster trade...unless you are willing to live with Cousins who seems like a taller Rondo nutcake.

I follow with passion so I'm ready to be amazed.

BTW, loved the way the Blazers refused to cave in, especially after losing Aldrige.

Yeah, Neil Olshay has done a stellar job assembling a team in a small market. I have a ton of respect for teams like OKC, GS and the Spurs for finding success despite not having a "platform for a brand". Neil got talented cast offs that were lottery talent that hadn't met expectations, but fit Stotts system.

Only problem is we have no draft picks because of Offolo, and then the Plumlee trade. Plumlee is worth it though.

Still they're a player away from really going deep. They need a finisher on the front line.

Jenner at that time was considered the best athlete of all time...

Hated Celtics will get back to the promised land before the Lakers.
