Macs just said he only lost him for a moment. You don't need to call him a gorilla.

So somebody shot Trump?!?!? Uncalled for. He will rough you up a bit but then he will play nice. Just ask the press and his opponents.

I feel like we should base who gets shot on their contribution to society. Next time.

The gorilla has brought joy to over 10 million people, and created income for the zoo, and its previous zoo for 17 years.

The kid, in all reality, will cost the people of America a couple hundred thousand in school, and public programs. Probably multiply and continue the cycle.

Let's be honest, aren't we animals too?

every parent has spent a few seconds looking elsewhere only to turn in panic to find their kid wandered a surprising distance.

you are better than me then. I'd be lying or painting a better picture of myself if I claimed to never have had a panic moment and was that sort of perfection. They were few but they were there.

My last panic moment was this year with my 10 year old. We had to walk a couple miles through a sea of humanity to get to the World Series parade. At the parade I held her on my shoulders to see over the masses. I'm old and out of shape and it killed me. I pulled her down and took a knee to recover for a few moments and when I looked up she was gone. No way she could hear me call, no way I could find her. Total panic.

She found me because she never took her eye off me while she wandered to grab something they threw to the crowd. But I sure had no idea where she went.

How many would have been saved if people realized the consequences of their actions. If the zoo used the kid as an example, jump 3 barricades and it's down to you versus the silverback. Good luck. When do our actions carry their own realities? I hope they bill the family for the bullet and gun cleaning products, and that any lawsuits get thrown out of court, and charge the zoos attorney fees to the family.

I have no issue with the family being responsible for expenses etc. That should be on them. But the choice between the gorilla and the kid is an easy one for me.
