RIP.

What a shame....she was an amazing person/coach.

No one even comes close to her accomplishments. Here are a few of the numbers.

38-years coaching without a losing season.
Most wins of any Div. 1 college coach.
Won 112 NCAA tournament games, the most in Division I history.
And the most impressive one IMO: All 122 Lady Vols under Summitt who completed their eligibility at Tennessee earned degrees.

Truly one of the greatest to ever have led any basketball team at any level.
RIP Coach. Tell Buddy hello and God speed. 🌫

She changed what I thought about women leaders in sports.

Great lady too.

Buckwheat, I'd suggest listing her graduation rate as well.

True, I believe it was 100%.

^ That is correct. She won over 1,000 games, she won 8 NCAA titles, 54 of her players became coaches, and 36 of her players have played in the WNBA.

RIP, Coach

Living close to Knoxville I meet her a few times 1 of the best
