Boveda sells the 75RH humidity pack, which many use to test their hygros.

Any reason one couldn't test/calibrate hygros using a 65RH Boveda pack?

Thanks...

I read somewhere that the higher humidity is better for -setting- the calibration. Don't recall why exactly... Something about the way the doohickie interacts with the thing-a-mabob deal....

OK - thanks kwaj.
I'll take your word for it, and just do the usual salt test.
Thought I'd be able to do a "short-cut" and test with 65rh Bovedas.

Scored 4 new digi hygros, that take one AAA battery...........yaay!!
Hate dealing with those little, gotta order em off Amazon, stupid, pain in the azz, tiny watch batteries that most hygros use.

You might like the ones that take "D" batteries better.

If you want a hygrometer that's 10 degrees off, then sure

Gotcha. My little 'burb has a Home Depot and a Walmart within walking distance. 1 mile away, across the street from each other.
