Pick one. I wasn't specific on purpose.

I'd pick one, but the chili peppers sucked even when they were good.

Take a nice beat.
Add a term from California.
Jump around with a sock on your richard.

Repeat.

Come on man

The Chili Peppers have a sound all their own. Something uncommon today and back when they got big.

You don't have to like them, but musically they are great.

I don't have any RHCP albums, but they have a lot of songs I really like.

Breaking the girl, Californication, Dani California, Scar Tissue, Snow (hey oh), by the way, otherside...

Rush Revisited:
Had an extra long drive home last night and I put Spotify to work.
Brought up all the Rush albums and had another listen.

Musically, they're perhaps even better than I give them credit for.
Some good originality, even early on.
Maybe it's the sheer volume of work, but their music does get somewhat redundant. And I often find the first adjective that comes to mind is "fast", rather than "good".
So in smaller doses, I'd rank them pretty high.

But (and this is important) I can't get past that awful, migraine inducing, off-key falsetto that is inexplicably passed off as singing.
Rock and Roll doesn't require "good" voices.
Consider Dylan, David Lee Roth, and Joe Walsh as exhibit 1A through C.

But it shouldn't be painfully shrill. Song after song.
There's a reason that bands like The Who only used purposeful feedback on a few songs.
Rush should have paid attention.

Tool. They don't have an album that stands out, but plenty of good songs, IMO.

I'm not sure there's a band that's been mentioned yet that I'd even consider having the greatest rock album. This should be the greatest classic/old pop music thread. Carry on.
