Well here we go, couple weeks ago went to the doctor with the gf. Talked about doing a C section on Dec 30t, so I talked with a planned to take my vacation at that time. So I've been working as normal, friday I get a call the they're doing the C section at 4 o clock. Crap, I'm 14 hours from the house and I'm not even loaded yet. There's no way I'm making it back in time (we didn't really want that to happen, but were both prepared that it was a possibility I wouldn't be there). Anyway get another call at noon there doing the C section now while they're fully staffed ok..... So

Thanks, yeah it was a bummer. I don't do well with hospitals and stuff and we were all joking couple weeks ago that I'd probably pass out. Her mom was there with her and from what she said it's a strong possibility I woulda passed out or got sick, so I guess it's all good lol

Congrats! natural birth is rough to witness, but lemme tell you, c-sections are worse... you're lucky you weren't in the room...

Congrats! I watched both my kids be born by c-section. If you get squeamish is not something to watch lol.
