Very old northeast wealthy wasp families had mottos, I'm sure the Scot in me had one 250 years ago when they left for the colonies.

Mom was adopted, dad not in the picture. Not exactly waspy over here. I'd be interested in taking one of those DNA tests that tells you where you're from, just to see, well, that.
