Started the Oktoberfest season on Sep 1st with the first Marzen-style lager to hit our shelves - Odell Brewing's Oktoberfest Marzen-style Ale. ABV: 6.1%, IBU 19

Paired with the La Mission de L’Atelier 1982 torpedo. The brew is lighter in appearance compared to other Marzens but is heavier on the palate than expected with a unique almost clove-like follow through due to the "spicy, herbal Noble hops". The La Mission 1982 torpedo is a great vitola for this blend and was a great accompaniment to the brew.

Drank their Cut Throat Porter last night....yum..

They have this in my local grocery store (they only typically carry 90 Shilling), Grabbed 6. Asked the beer/wine lady about carrying Loose Leaf and she said she'd get some for me ;)
