I'll share some Arnie stories when I have more time.
He was the real deal and he made it a point to stand there and sign autographs for Everyone that wanted one.
One quick story on Arnie. He went to Wake Forest. My dad and I went to the VantageSenior Championship in NC and Arnie was playing.
After his round there was a helicopter waiting to take him to the Wake Forest game where he was being honored at halftime. He had a long line of kids waiting for autographs and his handlers were trying to hurry him into the helicopter. I heard him tell them that the game could wait and he stayed and signed autographs until everyone that wanted one had one. They delayed the halftime show for an extra 15 minutes for him to arrive.
