I've never done either of them, so you'd be correct. My opinion would be anecdotal, and based on what I've seen, not on experience.

Well, it don't matter what you pick, they're both poor choices.

Sure, they are both sub optimal ideas for investment. I'm wondering which is worse.

There was a report saying the state recovered 50 grams of meth last year, and this year to date, they've confenscated 550 grams.

They are blaming the tighter supply of heroin due to a recent crackdown.

So if meth is expanding due to a lack of heroin, is that better than having people more access to meth?

Dan,
What do you see at your work?

I can't see one being a substitute for the other. One is the ultimate high High. The other is the ultimate low high.

I, uh...think.

I'd go shrooms and stay away from this $hit.

Huge explosion of heroin overdoses and complications of intravenous drug use like endocarditis.

Uses to see one or two a day in ER, and maybe one a week making it up to ICU. Now it's more like a dozen a day in ER and about 5 a week to ICU. Some overdoses even occur in the hospital when their friends and family bring it in for them (after nearly dying of an overdose)

Big crackdown on narcotic prescriptions in the state, but these people are hooked and will seek opiates in any form. Not just your standard junkie. We're seeing lots more of the housewives and grandmothers, gainfully employed people, and high school kids who may otherwise have experimented with pills - are going straight for smack because it's easier to find than pills now.

Meth is around, but don't see it as often. Lots of crack cocaine though.

this... if heroin is in low supply people don't reach for meth... not interchangeable...

that'd be like deciding to switch to vodka because you have no coffee...

I've sniffed some "painted crank" in my day, and other than being physically addictive, I don't see why people would go back... it was kinda yuck...

heroin is supposedly amazing... morphine and demerol sure are...

an 8 ball would be the "uncracked" version... and despite what your physician may have told you, crack isn't really a subsititute for valium... more like the antidote...
