I read an interesting artical in my paper about the international organization called Mara Salvatrucha and what it is doing in the US and Latin America. I could not find it on line. It has the head line "Gang crosses borders - and the line" (Los Angeles Times)

Here are some other articles.

Origin: MS origins can be traced to the one million El Salvadoran Nationals migrating into the United States during the 1980 to 1992 civil war in El Salvador. This accounts for much of the military and guerilla experience many of the members possess. MS gang members have strong contacts with El Salvadoran Organized Crime and use these contacts for buying and smuggling armaments and drugs. The Mara Salvatrucha (El Salvador Forever), also known as "MS," street gang is quickly growing to be one of the most dangerous gangs around.

extremely violent. They need to be put down before it is too late.

They're pretty big around here (Northern VA, DC Metro Area). Check Washingtonpost.com daily for info on them. I haven't really been keeping up with it but they are in the middle of a MS-13 murder trial, so there will be a lot of coverage right now.

To me this subject covers a lot of bases, Illegal aliens, drug trade, and terrorism(just not fucused on the American gov).

How is it going to be stopped? national IDs, marshal law, security check points? I don't know, you tell me.

They are already here and they're not going away.
