The money monkey thread got me stuck on the Stones this afternoon.
Thought I'd put this list out there just because. Top ten. First nine not in any particular order.
Not asking for opinions or discussion. I'm just telling it like it is.
Bitch
Can't You Hear Me Knockin?
Monkey Man
Angie
Gimme Shelter
Sympathy for the Devil
Jumpin Jack Flash
Tumbling Dice
Fool to Cry....this was hard for me to include...I hated it when it first came out....but it gives me chills now and makes me stop whatever I'm doing and listen whenever I hear it
Tie - Nearly everything else ...except some of that Some Girls disco ****...and anything from Dirty Work
Man...wtf....two ballads...and I absolutely hate rock ballads....except maybe those two
Any "Best of" Stones list that doesn't include "Stray Cat Blues" is wrong and null and void
No Ventilator Blues? Not a single Keef song? No Happy or Before they make me Run? Nothing off Some Girls at all? C'mon Man...you're better than this.
