Also, they have a hidden movie review site. Search for a new movie title, i.e. Star Wars. The first result will take you to the review page. You can read reviews and from there, you can enter your zipcode, and it will show the theatres near you with what's playing and when.

all this started by two college kids about 6 years ago and it is now worth 71 billion.

I wish I could have gotten in on their IPO. They were selling anywhere from 85-95 bucks a share, now it's worth 256 bucks a share, and I don't think it's even been a year.

Whenever I talk to my parents my dad always makes a point to tell me that because they paid for my college, they'll be eating dog food during their retirement. I tried to convince them to invest money in google when they first went public, but they didn't know how to take good advice. I remember telling them the same thing about Microsoft and eBay.

parents rarely listen to advice from their children. they remember their kids as little tiny things that have to be diapered. also older folks tend to get set in their thinking.

it works the other way also. my kids do not take advice from me even though i know better then they.

GOOG closed at $260.81 a share on Wall Street today, Up $4.81.

APUUY is down to .045 from .05.

GEGP is down to .008 from .178.

but

CLYW is up to 1.28 from 1.00.

Don't know what those are, but I figured since you were talking about Google, that you would be interested that today, at 12 Noon, Eastern, that it is selling for $260 a share . . .

Asian Pulp and Paper? . . . I thought they bought all of their trees from us? . . . 5 cents a share? Wow . . .
