For absolutely no reason other than he and I might be Brothers, he sends me a bottle of Cathead Vodka and Bristow Gin, both from Bottle Tree Beverage Company in Da Sip.

Tried the vodka tonight, excellent. Super smooth, velvety texture unlike other vodkas, and the name is inspired by the original Blues artists of Mississippi...yeah, I capitalized "Blues" cuz I am a lover of the genre.

Oh, and he addressed the box to "Frank". It found its way to my front door!

As for the bottles.....Nicely done on the research. Yes the name Cathead is a throwback to the old Blues artists. They formed cat heads from the MS river mud, and sold them for extra income.
