I have a few 100 count humidors and one has been completely stuffed full of cigars for a few months. Should I rotate the cigars from top to bottom, or just leave them as they are? Temperature is 68* and humidity runs 68 to 70%. Thank you. Bill

I have a very large collection spanning multiple very large plastic containers. Average age of the cigars is about 5 years, with some as old as 11 years.

I've never rotated or moved any of the cigars, ever. They go in the containers, then stay in that same position forever, typically for years.

I can pick a cigar from the top, middle or bottom of any of the containers, and they all smoke like a champ.

So, as long as you have well-sealed containers (e.g. that don't leak humidity from one area more than from other areas), rotation doesn't seem to matter and seems to be a waste of time

In the northern hemisphere, rotate clockwise
In the southern hemisphere rotate counter clockwise.

Or, just smoke yer cigars and don't worry about it.

I rotate my humidors every 2 months, just be careful not to let the lid open.

I keep my humidors in a sealed cooler. I don't have to but I was tired of fiddling with the humidifiers every month. Turns out they keep pretty good in there without additional assistance. Thinking about buying a brick of bovedas one for each humidor/box just to maintain good stability.

Ask Bill Clinton if he rotates his cigars.

Used to use a rotisserie motor, but the cheap locks on the humis kept failing.

Not only that, rotate the locations of each of your humidors, as well as your cigar smoking chair and ashtray. Other items in the house, including people, can be rotated as deemed necessary.
