Why is there no link to bid history? Only two bidders show on lot page. My $31 bid was the same for 2 of 2 items as the 2nd bidder who was shown with $31 bid on 1 of 2. My first bidding experience on the site and not an easy one without a bid history available. Please consider this! Thanks. Mike2007

I'm not sure I follow. However, if you bid using auto-bid, say up to $31 for an item, and someone else has done so or bid at a flat rate for that, whoever reached that same dollar level first gets priority. If you match a previous bidder who only matched one, or a later bidder outbids you on less than the full amount of lots on which you bid, he/she can outbid you on some lots but will leave others untouched.

In the meantime, when I hear a story about a brave marine roughing up an Iraqi terrorist to obtain information, know this: I don't care.

When I see a fuzzy photo of a pile of naked Iraqi prisoners who have been humiliated in what amounts to a college-hazing incident, rest assured; I don't care.

When I see a wounded terrorist get shot in the head when he is told not to move because he might be booby-trapped, you can take it to the bank: I don't care.

I too, was curious as to why we couldn't see the bid history. The reason it came to mind was that on an auction I won, the amount didn't make sense. The current bis was $78 and the bid increment was $3, so I bid $81 with an auto bid for more. I won the auction at $85.

If the bid increment was $3, how did it get to $85?
