just curious, how do most of you keep track of what cigars you have, want, already smoked? I have seen some apps for smartphones and have seen a couple of guys that keep extremely detailed spread sheets. Im just not organized enough to do that. I dont have enough cigars right now to forget what I have, but its getting to that point.

Get cigars, throw in humidor. Grab a cigar, smoke it. Thats all. I have been keeping a list though of what people send me so I can thank them appropriately.

I keep a handwritten log of each new box with the date code going back to 2001. Started mostly for Cubans but since most domestics don't have a date on the box it helps to know how old the stock is. Kinda messy.

I use a an Android app called Aficionado. I also put removable stickers on all boxes/singles with date received and source of the cigar.

Other than memory, I don't keep track ... that DOES lead to an occasional surprise which is then a bit like Christmas ...

I take cello samples and have them carbon dated at a labratory.

I just don't care that much any more.

I just grab a cigar and smoke it. Sometimes I won't even decide which one until I look in the humi to see what I have... and then think, "Oh, that one looks like a winner".

There's a good app called cigargeeks with an "electronic humidor", which is also access able from the site. Also had a spot for notes on every entry. Very nifty if you wanna keep track of who gave you what and price, age ect.

I keep my receipts from this website and cross off the cigar when I smoke it (if I remember).
When I buy from my shpos I write them down in a notebook with the date.
Easy and low tech.

I'm so bad, even with my ccs, I just chuck the boxes and don't bother writing down the date, lol.
