Because the first is acceptable, but the latter... not so much.

After two visits to the doctor to get my stitches out, they sent me to surgeon that had to recut the wound to remove a deep suture. No drugs and I have a big gaping wound with no stiches. Steri strips. Had to redo them myself to close the gap..
