Perhaps a little back story would be helpful.
To begin with, these forums aren't really what they seem to you. There are around 50 or so people who post here. Most of those people have traveled many miles to meet and smoked cigars with many others here. In fact last month I flew from New Orleans to San Diego to meet up with three fellow BOTL's that post here. In fact, two of those people I flew out to fish with have busted your balls on this thread.
A few months back, higher ups at CI (which includes CBid) decided to roll out a software update that went horribly bad. Left to deal with irate customers are two very sweet ladies, D'Marie & Shana. I have spoken with them many times and are friends on Facebook. In my opinion, the company left them severely short handed to deal with the aftermath.
In the five years before the ill fated software update, there were a few people who raised concerns here without contacting CS. Those ladies are also the site moderators so they saw their complaints and usually responded very quickly.
As far as the cigars that are smoked by us paupers, most of us don't buy from here anymore because they no longer or never offered the cigars that many of us smoke. My "yard gars" are Fuente Anejo's & Hemingways. I also tend to smoke cigars which aren't sold in this vicinity.
I'd suggest that you walk out the door, and re-enter a bit more humbly than before. If you do, you may make some lifelong friends with some very knowledgeable people. I know I have.
