Was there 2 years ago. Had myself a bounty of CC's. I will try and look up where I went. Can't remember the name.

Not cigar-related, but count your change everywhere in Rome. I'm sure they're merely math-challenged, but I've never had so many mistakes by people making change. Have always been curious if others had similar experiences.

Beautiful city, so much to see.

Haven't been myself, but my son went with a friend after they graduated college. He said it is among the most beautiful places he's traveled to. Lots of historic sites. If your time is limited, don't go overboard trying to fit in a cigar site. Enjoy the city...

was there a few years ago. cant remember the cigar shop we went to but bought a few italian cigars that will definitely put hair on your chest. you can pretty much smoke anywhere outside. the plaza by the pantheon is a great place to sit and enjoy the people. As delta said, there are so many things to see there try to see as much as you can. you can always enjoy a cigar at night

I enjoyed an H Upmann there a few years back (bought at a nearby bodega) along with some Peroni Reserva. It was my birthday and we'd just come from a canonization mass said by the Pope at the Vatican. There was a guy singing opera on the street and even the locals were crowded around watching. One of the most memorable days of my life.

On semi-related note, when in Florence we are taking what is - without a doubt - the SECOND stupidest tour possible: A Vespa tour of wineries! Yes we will be on Vespas and drinking wine. The STUPIDEST one was the bar hopping tour on Segways....
