I have looked into exploring more of the Padron catalog and the 40th, 80th and 90th seem pretty similar "on paper" to me.

The similarities: All have a 1926 upper band, All have same wrapper and filler, all full flavor and strength

The differences: Different sizes, different prices, different lower band to indicate which year and I think the 80th is aged much longer than the others.

Questions: Which do YOU like best? What is the REAL difference between these 3 cigars? And how do they compare to the original 1926?

I really like the 1926 No. 1 and No. 2 and haven't really thought about trying any of the other ones because of an even higher price tag and because I dont see much difference between the original 1926 and the others, on paper that is.

90th is the oldest, it uses 90 year old filler.

They all use Mexican San Andreas wrapper, which they don't admit to.

And they all taste the same.

So not quite as old as you, but equally as lumpy?

I heard that they really do use san andreas on their thousand series.

And that's because all of the alcohol and pain pills have dulled your taste buds.
