Sick for a bit.

Still got the double shooters.

Missed the target on an upper evac. Went through the nose on alternate. Few hours later still getting food bits back.

Doing in law Christmas today. Got home n went to bed, wife woke me up mid afternoon to head to her parent's house.

Don't feel that sick, but things are rapidly exiting my body from any and all exit points. Blew my nose and found cheese.

Normally 1-2 patients per nurse on my unit. Had 6 scheduled, 4 called off. I was the only senior staff to be night charge. Had no option to call off. I had to be there even if I was dying.

6 patients and 2 nurses. 2 of the patients just rolled out of the OR from open heart surgery. Should be 2:1 nurse:patient but when all your staff says **** you guys, gotta go in and get **** done.

Nobody died.

Back to work tomorrow.

Currently 42 going to 59 today.

Time to get the morning workout and bike ride out of the way for the day.
