Get the boat up to 5 mph, let your lures out... then drink beer and smoke cigars until your clicker starts singin'. Then reel in the fish.

I've done this for years, we have lakes that are hike in only dry camping. One lake in particular Tanen is a Brookie hot bed, we literally will catch fish all day, females in the shallow, big males in the deep by the submerged log.

1. Do NOT USE ANYTHING except neoprene waders, the canvas style are a death trap waiting to happen. You WILL DROWN if you don't heed that advise.

I went down in a hole in a slough with a shotgun.Waders full,soaked to the bone,shotgun never got wet .........I paddled a few feet to the shallows.BREATHABLES RULE!!!

Used one of these with flippers on a small lake a few years ago. I'd gone out on a kayak and caught some stuff but there wasn't anywhere to store gear and my hook got snagged on the front tie rope had to go to shore to climb out and fix it. On the tube there's room for stuff without sitting it all on your lap. Had a more relaxing experience on the inflatable.
