Um-hum, I go away for a few days and the place falls apart! The site goes to chit (To many redirects so the forums won't load,) I spend an hour on clearing cookies over and over to no avail, People start telling on themselves (Frank #5 and WTF?)

On a more serious note, I do appreciate the concern as it does mean a lot to me. I had posted in the 500 this morning (I think) on the current situation ( after the dang page loaded finely) but to reiterate here because here is more appropriate.

My Dr has put me on some funky ass med that drops me like an elephant tranquilizer. I had slept for 15 hours straight yesterday or last night. This was only after taking half a pill instead of the whole pill as instructed because I do not like sleeping my life away. Normally if I take the whole pill it knocks me out for a day or longer. By the time I wake its time to take another pill and back out I go.

I have spoken with the Dr on this but shes adamant that I stay on it. I think my wife has spoken with my Dr and they got this "Female's Unite" thing going on and decided it was best to keep me in a drug induced coma. It is a real freaky feeling to go to sleep as its getting dark and then to wake up and see that its still just getting dark like I have only been asleep for 10 minutes. Then to find out a day or two has passed. Any how, that is why I have been absent. It would be better if I at least would dream but nope this chit takes me down so far that even that don't happen. I am not the kind of guy to not listen to a Dr but this has got to change. Quality of life and all that jazz. Any who, that is why I have not been on. Now my head is bouncing off my desk so I got to go lay it back down.

In all seriousness, I'm so sorry to hear about the continuing medical problems. Those pills sound nasty, and what a freaky experience. Prayers and thoughts for a marked improvement in your condition.

Sorry about the situation but it does not erase the fact that Frank rated you out. Keep an eye on that low life. hah

The idea of the "Plot" dang sure has crossed my mind.

No need to be sorry brother its life. The pills are for Depression and Sleep. I guess one cant be depressed if they in a coma. Yes they are nasty to say the least. I think my best bet is just to tell the Dr flat out I am not going to take them. After doing some research I found that once a person has been on them for a bit, if they should stop taking them daily the body becomes dependent on the pills for sleep thus insomnia becomes an issue. That's the last thing I need.

I don't mind anyone asking at all. The majority of my life I have been on Zoloft for depression and Lorazepam for anxiety and they worked great for me. No side affects, Never felt drugged the Zoloft was to be taken every day, the lorazepam was as needed which was not often at all. The hospital put me back on the lorazepam after I had my stroke because of the area of the brain that got broke.

Any how after the stroke and almost 2 years of trying to find a Dr that dealt with this kind of chit my Attorney of all people suggested I try here because my Drs was not doing the trick. Any how this crazy bat Dr has that mentality of "Oh No you will get addicted and start buying street drugs Blah Blah Blah" We are going to take you off the lorazepam, and put you on 3 other psychotropic drugs for depression and anxiety. So now instead of taking zoloft daily and lorazepm as needed.

I am now taking Zoloft and...

Hydroxyzine which is used to treat itching caused by allergies. It is an antihistamine and works by blocking a certain natural substance (histamine) that your body makes during an allergic reaction. Hydroxyzine may also be used short-term to treat anxiety or to help you feel sleepy/relaxed before and after surgery.

and,

Remeron, which is used to treat depression. It improves mood and feelings of well-being. Mirtazapine is an antidepressant that works by restoring the balance of natural chemicals (neurotransmitters) in the brain. It is also used for sleep.

The Remeron: I was diagnosed with seizures at the age of 22. Taking this med is a no no if you have a hx of epilepsy. Also its a no no if one has a hx of recent heart attack, angina or stroke and I have had both. And, yes this Dr Knows my medical history.

The Hydroxyzine is to take the place of the lorazepam because "this drug is not addicting" it just keeps you in a coma!

So in essance I have those two meds that knock me the heck out. Two: Should not be taking due to other health issues and this Dr Knows this but is adamant I stay on them because Lorazepam is "BAD" cause you might get addicted and become a druggie. So I now stay in a coma most of the time and when I am awake well, Depressed because I am pissing my life away. Now here is the real kicker. When I am frustrated, in a dont give a chit mood, sad, happy.... I don't know if its me that feels this way or if the drugs are making me feel this way. Its about as phuged up as it comes I think. But hey, now I wont start selling or buy street drugs cause that is what is really important here. My health and well being takes 4th place when in comparison. Blahhhh!.......... Any how time for bed again head is bouncing off the keyboard.
