I have always felt Philly had some pretty bad fans. After watching game 6 of Penguins vs Flyers.........no doubt the worst sports fans I have ever encountered.

If you haven't heard it, one of the all time greatest comedians, Bill Burr, once had a little run in with philly... the crowd had just booed and heckled the legendary Dom Irerra when Bill was scheduled to come up for a 20 minute set... he utilized his time to insult everything philly... one of the funniest rants I've ever heard...

Dude they were throwing almost full beer cans at the Penguins players. Not cool under any circumstances. Its a sporting event.....someone loses. As a matter of fact they just got outplayed the entire series......Whats so hard to accept?I just hate idiot fans and I wish they could have arrested those who tossed crap on the ice.

I absolutely agree. I was just being a smart arse. I would never condone throwing anything on the ice. Just remember that for the dozen or so fans that where throwing things, there where 19,500 who where not.

Over my 60 years in SJ, I've been to many, many Philly sporting events. Eagles fans are the absolute worse. In fact, I will no longer attend Eagles games due to the fans. Flyers fans are a close 2nd. Sixers and Phillies fans are much more laid back and respectful.

Yeah. The Browns fans are almost as bad the Philedelphia fans!

Who remembers the batteries thrown at Pirates outfielder Dave Parker
https://www.upi.com/Archives/1983/09/11/A-fan-threw-a-battery-at-Pittsburgh-Pirates-right-fielder/7945432100800/

Or the bullets thrown at Parker at Veterans Stadium

Glad that series is over! Go Pens!
