I can not figure out what the spice is. It is almost like an anise kind of flavor but a little sweet. I do not get it in the Hit and Run and I have yet to try a Big payback. A lot of folks at my local B&M just look at me like I have a 3rd eye, not sure if it is because of my description or if I am tasting something that is off the chain. I do get it in the Ichiban, Namakubi, and Uncle Lee which is why I love those smokes. I guess I should get off my arse and see if any of those have a tobacco that is used across all 3 but I am to lazy and would most likely forget what I have learned in 5 minutes. 🌫

Carbonell has a sugar coated wrapper that gives the cigar a sweet taste.
