25 point beat down... without their best player (Kyrie), and their newest addition (Hayward).

The fact that Brad Stevens has not won a single coach of the year is a joke.
The fact that he didnt get a SINGLE vote this year is a conspiracy, based on...............jealously?
By far one of the best basketball minds I've ever seen.................I hate the Celtics by the way...........but I am pulling for Boston to beat LeBron.

turns out this coach of the year was a different one, just a vote by the 30 coaches themselves...yeah, jealousy.

I'm not sure how, after what he did this year with his 2 best players (at the time) injured, he didn't get a single vote for coach of the year.

He's got a rookie playing like an all-star, and his team has shut down 3 of the best players in the NBA in Antetekounpo, Simmons, and Embiid. Now they handed the best player in the NBA a 25 point loss?

I don't care what happens from here on... Brad Stevens has exceeded everyone's expectations.

the acknowledged coach of the year vote is still due, doesn't count playoffs I believe, but he certainly should get a lot of votes, at least 2nd or 3rd place votes from most participants.

the award just done by the 30 coaches only had each coach vote for a best, no second or third.

Brown had a fine regular season, especially the second half of the season, Snider did a great job in Utah, a couple of other guys deserve merit. But as much as I like Doc Rivers, this was not his finest effort regardless of roster.

Nice win, but it will be CLE v GS in the finals I think. The league demands it

it is a star power league, and with Kyrie out, the Celts are not must see TV...but Lebron is, so yeah, you're probably right.

Warriors are going to destroy Houston.
Whoever wins game 2 of the ECF, will win the series.........and lose to the Warriors in 5 or 6.

It hurts to type this...I hate the Celtics so much...but I'd like to see a Houston v Boston finals too. The Cavs and Warriors have had enough of the limelight, just like the Pats...

BTW: Ainge should get more credit for the Celtics rapid rebuild...dammm, I hated him when he was a pesty player...

Danny is in the Oregon Sports HOF.

He's done a bang up job of both stockpiling assets and transforming the roster to his coaches style. Tatum will be great one day.

F Houston. Obnoxious players and fans. Used to really admire their franchise and San Antonio. Now not so much.

Well...............like I said above, Warriors gonna smash Houston.
As good as Harden and Paul are, it's just not enough.
Warriors have too many options.
Curry is still not close to 100%, but gets better every few days, which spells more trouble for the Rockets, and either Cavs or Celtics.

Heh.....my hatred goes back to the 60s when the Lakers just couldn't beat the Celtics.

Three things I see, all pretty obvious...
-Al Horford is a dang good player, with a good mix of skills, and very under rated. The Celtics have a few other very under rated players.

-Brad Stevens is an excellent coach. He creates match ups and schemes better than most, and understands the new "era" and how the basketball math has changed, and how best to utilize his players to effectively DEFEND and score, in this new style of play.

-Danny Ainge for recognizing the skill in Brad Stevens, and for getting good players who are smart. 5 good players, who are SMART and well coached, will beat 5 super athletic players who get mediocre coaching.

The Warriors have super athletic smart players, who are well coached...........very tough to beat.

all true.

I love the Celts, and I also love NBA and great playing in general.

The Warriors are truly a modern marvel.
