Hey guys! New to the site, and already addicted. Anyway, can anyone explain what it means when only 1 of the 2 unit gets out bid? I see their are winners with lower bids in the same active auction. Thanks for any input!

I meant to say 1 or MY 2 units got outbid.

it happens ... when the bidding goes up and the max available units are all bid on, increasing bids subtract from the least senior prior lower bids ... I know it's confusing at first, but you'll catch on

In simpler terms . . .

Let's say there are two lots up for auction.
You bid $10 on both lots.
I come along and bid $12 on ONE of the lots.
If no more bids are placed, you get yours for $10 and I get mine for $12.

As a noob, here's a bit of advice, if you are not already aware of it.
Always use the "Maximum Bid" option when placing a bid.

Let's use the two lots we discussed previously.
If you put in a straight up $10 bid on both lots, and nobody else bids on them . . . You win them for $10.
BUT, if you put in a "Max Bid" of $10, and nobody else bids, you get them for $1.00 ( the starting bid)
If someone bids $2 on them, they are notified that their bid is too low and automatically increases YOUR bid to the next increment, which would probably be $3. This process continues until someone bids higher than your $10.
