Comparing aged Dominican puros... for my tastes, an aged LG Diez beats the pants off an aged Opus.

I like both, young and old, but I think (for my current tastes anyway), LG Diez wins.

As far as my overrated goes... DE Liga line. I've tried enough to where I spend my dough on other things at that price point (Like Padron Anny and young Opus 🙂

Perdomo's I here people rave about them, but I don't care for them. To each his own.

I purchased some Cohiba Reds awhile back and they were terrible and poorly constructed.

No doubt. The Cohiba Red Dot and Maduro Black are just average smokes. Online price for a single 7" x 49 Cohiba Churchill is $21.50 and that is a JOKE! Smoked through 20 I got at C.I. a few years back at $4.50 and I wouldn't even buy them again at that price. Only the Cohiba Nicaragua has been a average+ blend.

Good but overrated imo. Not great ever.

So I’m sure I’ll get some eyebrows raised on this, and I’ll also note that Im not a Fuente fan (something doesn’t click with my palate other than the Casa Cuba), but for me it’s the Opus X. To be fair I’ve only had one, but in one of the blind trades we did on here a few years ago, I thought it was absolutely the yard gar.

I am a Fuente ho........but young Opus are horrid in my opinion.However well aged,5 years plus,they are outstanding,especially the smaller ring gauges.All that being said I agree with BGZ,Litto's sticks are superior to even a well aged Opus.

I've noticed my palate has changed extensively over the past five years. Used to love huge bold flavors, Padron, 601, Kristoff, Brazilia et cetera. While I still enjoy those cigars I have shifted more into medium bodied smokes. I tend to feel as if they have a fuller more well rounded flavor at least.

I'm not gonna knock the padron thousand series for its consistency but I will say that I am not impressed at all with the family reserve cigars nor do I care for the 80th anniversary. Even the 1964 blend is starting to just not be that great.

Another huge dissapointment is Bandolero and to some extent I really was not impressed with Byron either.

Ave Maria something or other. Not sure which it was. It was horrible.
