Hi guys.
I really enjoyed 660 and I have been buying boxes and boxes over past few years. Last few weeks i noticed the 5 and 10 packs on CBS and decided to purchase butch of 6 and 10 packs. After babying them in humidor for 2 week. I smoked few of them so far and feel really disappointed. They don't burn a s well tastes are way off and they fall apart. Has anyone noticed the difference b/w the one from the box and these horrible 5 and 10 packs. Are these the real on as box cigar? Are they the lower quality and tobacco? Are they fake. Please advise, comment with your experience.
Cheers all

Did you try / buy your boxes of 660s when they first came out? If so, that could explain things. Subsequent production is not as good as the OR.

It's happened before with CAO. Great OR, later on, meh...

Pilons a good example. Amazing when first came out, now average.0

I can't tell you how many CAO cigars were, to my palate, "WOW!" on initial release, then crappy and sub-"meh" shortly after that, while CAO kept using the exact same name, boxes, vitolas, bands, everything.

As a result, I stopped buying their stuff years ago.

I think the exception to the CAO opinion is the brazilia, it seems to stay consistent.

I had the same issue with the Roadkill version, which I loved and had purchased about 4 boxes over the last couple years. The most recent was just not the same. That happens though, each crop is a little different.
