A buddy of mine from work suggested that I try taking some LADC’s and let them soak in high end spiced rum, this is new for me, and was wondering what the FOGS have to say on the subject.

Like Dan said..........no.

But if you must have a "rum infused" cigar of your making?

Get a small air tight container, or good zip lock Baggie.
Insert shot glass with an ounce of rum, and the cigar you want to ruin.........er.......infuse........no, don't put the cigar in the shot glass!
Seal up the bag.
Let it sit for a month or two.
Smoke it and tell us all about it.

If you decide to pursue infusion they make a jar humidor you can use... Should work very well... 👍

I think you should do it and post pictures after as a warning to others.
Include a taste review of the cigar and taste the rum it soaked in...

Prolly should do this with a cheap cigar and cheap rum tho.

Ok, seeing as how you suggested infusion, I have a large stash of RP Short Runs that I picked up very cheaply. Perhaps I will take a few and try infusion with them. I have a bottle of Koloa Kauai Spiced rum that should be excellent for this experiment. I will write a review after they have sat for a few months.

I never knew there was a high end spiced rum! HA!

years ago I took some cheap coronas and put them in a baggie with ground coffee, put that in a humidor I was willing to toss, and smoked one evry month or so for a few months. Kind of worked, but was like smoking cheap cigars that had a cheap coffee essence.

best idea of all if you don't follow Phil222 #14 would be to smoke a good cigar and drink some good rum.
