$1,250, can anyone explain how a cell phone is worth that much? Or for that matter anywhere near that much?

I used to pay more than that for a computer every couple few years. Last computer I bought for myself was eight years ago.

Good point about the camera. I don't take pictures much, but I'd bet that a lot of people have reduced their spending on cameras, lenses, film, processing, etc.
I've been more outraged about the cost if service, than the price of phones.
Between cell bill, internet/cable, streaming services.....we spend over $400/mo....EVERY MONTH

Agree on the film costs it was a real paradigm shift that bankrupted Kodak.

I feel your pain on the monthly cost, ours is $317 so I am considering cutting out cable TV service.
