How can you edit these without having to pay for an adobe account? I had a file sent to me via PDF that I want to edit... but I can't seem to do it without being asked to subscribe to some bs paid account. F that.

I mean.... The point of a PDF is to make it uneditable.

You can... But if someone sent you something in PDF maybe you aren't supposed to change it?

Don't need to edit a PDF to do that. Just need to add an opaque square in the PDF

Add a comment... Make it a rectangle. Make the rectangle cover the text... Edit the properties to make the fill for the rectangle black... (Or white if you don't want it to look like Jones's redacted service history)

If you can't find a shape in comments... Go to tools... In the search box for tools type shape. Select rectangle
