Not gonna discourage it for less experienced staff but those that been at it 10 years I don't expect or want them wasting 40 minutes to setup. Nor can some patient's lives wait 40 minutes to setup. Time is critical in many situations, and the competency review was for safe setup of life support devices. If reading the manual is a required step, we gonna have more people dying over policy than already do.

Vodka, Opel, so technically a Kangaroo rather than a martini. Although, I’ve been called old if I order it that way. In this instance, it’s 3 parts Belvedere Intense (100 proof) to 1 part vermouth.

And, Frank, you are welcome any time. It’s a cool 70 degrees right now. No fan needed for a change. Or as the weatherman put it, lows tonight will dip way down into the upper 60’s....

Who was it that famously said the proper amount of vermouth in a martini was achieved by placing the vermouth bottle next to the martini glass and letting the sun shine through both? That guy was smart... Vermouth is rough...

My go to was always to ask the bartender to swirl the vermouth around in the glass, then dump it out and fill the glass with sapphire... Keep it clean... Prolly shoulda just taken shots of gin...

A little, but it's more like an opiate; makes you more ok with the pain but the pain is still there...

I'm told soaking buds in isopropyl and then soaking rags in that alcohol and then applying those rags to your back can help with inflammation... I dont got that much pot though...

To be perfectly honest, I’m largely ignorant on the whole pot thing. It puts me immediately to sleep (as of 20 some odd years ago), so it never appealed to me, but I get your comparison.

Opel, I have a good friend who suffers from siatic nerve pain. He eventually found that acupuncture and stretching gave him quite a bit of relief. Though it did take him some time to find the right acupuncturist and physical therapist. Also I have read some promising reports on CBD oil reducing siatic nerve pain.

Nah.. I figure that'd take somewhere between 4-6 hours. Could be a while depending on perspective.

I gotta be up in the morning to try out a new firewood guy.

Found a craigslist ad that was also copy pasted to facebook marketplace. $100 face cord split seasoned hardwood includes free delivery. Posted location two towns south of me. Gave him a call last week and he said he didn't have time for delivery, but could pickup anyday 8-noon and gave me an address about an hour away. I said I'm not paying $100 a face cord if I gotta drive an hour and you list free delivery. He said yeah, don't worry about that see you Friday. Not sure what that means, hopefully it means I fill my truck for $50 like my old firewood lady.
