The epic questions... How big is it? What is too big or small?

I am talking about your cigar collection... I know it is not a collection because we smoke them but I am not sure of a another word to use.

Three Questions:
1. How many cigars? You can add details like brands/types?
2. How do you track your cigars? Spreadsheet/app?
3. How do you store them? Wood humidor/coolider/binds?

1. 489 Cigars / 45 Different Brands / 130 different Series/Shapes
2. I use an app called Aficionado which works for me. Not as user friendly but it easier than a spreadsheet. I have it on my phone and can check on the fly....
3. I use wood humidor and cooler. Still learning on what works best for me.

I had 1,600-1,800 now paired down to probably 400. Brands? Still too many....that’s why I paired down to stick with JUST what I enjoy regularly.

Track them? LMAO.....I have cigars to relax, I’m not a CPA.

Wooden wines for, 6’x3’x3’ beads.

My wife says “too many”.
I have a few cigars.
A few years back, I did a purge of my cigars. I passed along all of the lower end ones (my beginner cigars) and have now just kept the better ones. It might be a little snobby but pretty much premium and better.
I have delved into acquiring Cubans and have a decent supply of them.
Still trying new ones when I can.

I once did the spreadsheet thing. I also took down tasting and smoking notes on every different cigar I smoked. Lasted maybe a month before it became too much like work, so I deleted everything. Now I just put a sticker on them with the date sometimes.

Probably around 200-250. Rarely smoke anymore so I purged everything I didn't care for, or were just yard gars.

I know what I have in my head, and where they're located. When I was actively trading and stuff, I'd label things I received so I know when and from whom I got it.

Store em in cedar lined Pelican case and one nice desktop humidor.

1. Probably too many to smoke in this lifetime. Well over 1,200, I’d guess 75% NCs, 25% Cubans. I will, at some time in a next 2-3 years, do a massive inventory thinning.
2. Still keep a spreadsheet of what I buy and receive. When I first got into premium cigars, knew exactly where each one was stored. Then as I went from one cooler to three, it was w-a-y too time consuming. Not nearly as OCD about what / when I smoke and any thoughts about them.
3. Coolers, wooden humidors as well as Tupperware. Beads and Bovedas.

At one point I had around 1,500. Since I Should not smoke anymore ( although I occasionally sneak a Robusto), I am now down to around 700. of my favorites. Actually have been giving some away and have lost a few bet recently (TG is smoking very well) that helped deplete my stash. My son in law & nephews having been smoking well above their pay grade.

Store them in a cabinet humi.
Never tracked them.
Smoked all brands.

1. 10 or so
2. I just keep a journal no need for a spread sheet when I can just open the humidor and see in a single glance.

Back to the OP:

1. Too many to count. Majority over 5 years old and lots of OR. Lots of different brands.
2. No inventory. What's the fun in knowing what you have? Nice finding something I forgot I had! 🌫
3. Two Aristocrat humidors, couple a cooladors, a few desktop humidors, etc. 😳
