Are the short torps exclusive for CI /CB? Any back story or info on these? Thanks,
Lucky

I checked a couple other retailers and Dunbarton's web site. Since Dunbarton does not list them on their site, I'd have to say that they are a CI exclusive. I've smoked Sobremesa cigars, but never the short torp, so I don't know how they compare.

The other place also sells a size which seems to be an exclusive to them.
Have not tried those...

Exclusives worry me - the worst cigar I ever smoked was an exclusive Gurkha.

I don’t know about the short torpedo but the Sobremesa El Americano (Toro) in my memory is one of the best cigars I’ve ever smoked.

I have 10 of the Mi Querida Sakakhans which are a CI exclusive size but since it’s well into cigar drought season (fking cold weather it’s not even winter yet dammit anyways) where I live, I haven’t gotten to do anything but look at them and wonder if they’re any good? They’re cheap on here compared to CI so that makes it not that big of a deal if they suck.

I have had the sobremeso short torp........OK but not impressed...... others speak very highly of the brand in general. Not the same blend?? Need to do a side by side comparison, I guess.

I’ve had most of the vitolas, but not the short torp. I’ve narrowed it down to the short churchill (exceptional) and the elegante en Cedric’s (very good). Those are supposedly the two fullest bodies and strongest of the line. Interested if someone can compare the torp to the short churchill.

Thanks for the input guys. I have tried the short Churchill and that was great. I will give these a try ROTT and then again in the spring and will leave some feedback. ;)

Got my shipment and tried the Subremesa ROTT and it was great! I didn’t pick up any differences from the regular vitolas. I’m glad I picked up 15!

I have both the short Churchill and short Torp.............My wheelhouse is in the smaller ring gauges but here the short Torp wins out.

So the other place carries most all the Dunbarton vitolas.
They also have what appears to be an exclusive........the "Short Robusto" at 4.75x52.

However, the Dunbarton website lists a cigar that exact size, and calls it the "Elegante en Cedros".

But then the other place also lists an "Elegante en Cedros", but it's a 7x50 Churchill.

And so, I humbly ask:

WTF?!

And, more importantly, anyone try the Short Robusto from the other place?

So.....there's a pretty glaring typo on Dunbarton's website I guess?

Holy carp!
Steve Saka gets back to me in 5 minutes, and fixes the typo!
How many cigar bosses do that?

Exactly.
