This is a new one for me. My wife and I lately have been receiving robo calls on our cell phones, but in Chinese. Anyone else getting these?

I get them...read that they are hoping to hook Chinese people here into believing they owe taxes in China and must either show in court or send money.

I also get them on occasion and am of the same understanding as Frank ... it's said they're having success in this scam, as well, given the Chinese view of government ...

I used to get many more robo calls before I instituted my own one call that’s all strategy. If a male calls I ask them if they like to suck deek. If the caller is female, I ask if they like anal s*x. In all but one instintance they hung up immediately most to never call again. But, on one occasion a female told me she was down. But, she was calling from the Ukraine. After I mulled it over a minute I realized that it was too far to travel for a piece of azzz.

None from China, but plenty of others for credit consolidation and other nonsense. Most just wait for an answer and hang up at the answering machine. I just installed Hiya Caller ID and Block on my home line. I recently change from Xfinity voice (VOIP) to a cell phone.

Every RoBo call I get is from that Chit hole of a place OHIO!

Not totally effective, but does slow down the robocallers.

I just don't answer unless I recognize the caller....if they leave a voicemail and I GAF, I will call back

Hard to do when you own a residential construction company and your cell number is on ever piece of marketing you do.

They stop calling when you give them your credit card and social security numbers.

About the only country I'm not getting calls from.

Nobody went to Africa....
