Once a month ingestion leaves the system in 24 hours... Play it safe and just do it on the Friday night of 3 day weekends... That'll give you pain relief a few times a year at least... Sorry it is what it is... Kinda silly but I think laws will change...

grmcooper wrote:

It is heart breaking is it not. Companies will let you take prescription Benzos, Opioids etc and say "sure its ok for you take the little white rat poison pill and keep a job." But, they will never allow you to have or use prescription MMJ. You know why!

(Breaks into Song)

Some people got to have it, yeah, some people really need it
Listen to me y'all, do things, do things, do things, bad things with it
Well, you wanna do things, do things, do things, good things with it,

You'll never be allowed to smoke and drive and you'll never be able to be high while driving... But just like you can consume alcohol when you're not driving, eventually it'll be the same with herb...First it needs to be legalized federally and there will need to be some type of roadside test that quantifies the thc in your body... Like a breathalyzer but for pot... Once those happen I don't see any issues that would prevent recreational use by any and all...

I would love some relief. This crap is killing me......

The owner of the company is a complete douche bag.

Now I have to take drug classes for something he said I can do. I have never used anything in my life and now going to go to addic classes. Lmmfao!!!!!

The world is so jacked up.

On another note I will definitely get my grand back plus some from classes I have to go to somehow at work.

Damn, Brother!

That sucks! I'm thankful that I can survive on SSDI and my wife's salary. I still hurt 24/7, but it does give some relief and yep, makes NO sense that I could keep driving while jacked up on Hydrocodone, valium and cyclobenzaprine!!!!! BUT, the Big Pharma's and FDA are the real problem, it's called corporatism, methinks.

THE most WRONG part is if he suggested this and NOW decides YOU NEED Addiction HELP?!?!?!?! WTF?!?!?!

My prayers are with ya, Brother!

Ok, So let me see if I got this straight. First you tried to go about this in the correct manor. You spoke with the higher ups and they said yes it was ok for you to get a MMJ card and keep your license. You got the card, used it, found it works pretty damn good for the pain, then they say no you cant do this and now have to go to addict classes pretty much "Rehab" per the owner of the company?

First, I do know that according to "studies" that they say THC can become addictive but, I have never met an addict of THC in my life. What I have met is an addict that is addicted to being pain free and not to the THC itself. Which I am one of. I use regularly (every night) in fact because I love being pain free, or well I should say, in less pain.

Now here is the nut kicker, I am not sure about in your state but in mine, once a person has had to attend "addict classes" which is a sugar coated word for "Rehab" this becomes part of the persons permanent record. Not only their work record but, their name is then put in a national database as an addict or previous addict. A similar database as "Drug Seekers" which then follows you around for the rest of your life. So, do not be shocked if one day you go the Dr for your "legal pain meds" and during triage you are asked "So are you still using street drugs or recreational drugs" or something of the sort.

I guess what I am trying to say is this all falls into the old saying of "Good Guys Finish Last" category all while they sit around and wonder why it is that so many turn to actual street drugs vs a legal means of pain meds which does not work and has more side effects than drinking bleach.

Sorry for the rant, It just pisses me off that this is the world we live in. I do feel for you brother. I guess the next question would be, Are you going to conform to the corporate and social opinions and rules or are you going to do like the rest of us "Drug addicts" and say "Phugg all of you" and become an Out Law. (breaks into song)

AHHH!

I misunderstood, assumed that he set you up. If this was a random test, that really sucks, because yep, anyone holding a CDL and a driving job has to piss clean, it's federally mandated, otherwise, the State won't get federal funding for highway safety, etc. Luckily, my last job that required a CDL was with a Coca Cola distributor, we always knew that there would be "random tests" given when we had safety meetings, hehe! So, we had a day's notice.

One episode, a buddy knew he was dirty, so he asked me how to help him clean out overnight, LOL. There's a local herbal nutritionist that has catered to the nearby folks with a "Cleanse Tea"! You had to make about a gallon of green tea combo along with a handful of pills to ingest, various times over the day/night prior to the test. You would be gripping the commode and quivering like a dog chitting peach pits by midnight, BWAHAHAHAHAHA! That worked for some,
LOL.

I honestly had a setup that I bought via a "High Times" Magazine ad!!!!! Well worth the deal. I got two bags of clean urine, in IV bags and with some tubing and a couple of pinch clamps. They didn't watch us, so I didn't need one of those fake goobers to hide the tubing, LMAO! The urine came frozen and when you needed to use it, I would just throw it in the shower during my shower, the bag would thaw and then I added a hand warming pack on the outside of the bag and taped it under my arm, so the temp would be in the acceptable range. Saved my job, and worked like a charm, BUT, not a good setup for immediate random tests. You need enough time to thaw and strap on the bag and tubing. I would bring a cooler that day and as soon as the "meeting" was over, I would run the bag out to the cooler and drop it in to refreeze it.

When I went to get a part time job at a Domino's Pizza place in '06, I told the manager to save his money on a drug screen and told him what he would find, LOL. The young lady that worked days with me, said that he hired me faster than anyone she remembered, LOL! He was Muslim and devout. That was a comical situation. RIP, Marwan. I lost him to cancer a few years ago. Nice guy.

Prayers out for you, my friend. I hate seeing anyone going through this stupid stuff and it IS just STUPID. NEVER in the history of man has ANYONE died from an overdose of Marijuana! Yet, my prescribed drugs are killing folks daily!!!! I can easily stop the MJ in a couple of days with hardly ANY cravings or side effects, aside from a couple of nights with odd dreams, simple as that!!!!

I did just that a couple of years ago and my wife didn't realize it for a few days. She came in from work one afternoon and said "Have you stopped?!?" I told her yep, I was tired of it for awhile. Mind you, she's a VERY professional RN, that's held many different positions in her company. She's been with them for over 30 years now. Basically, she's come full circle on how she views MJ. Funny thing is about two months into stopping, she told me to go and get some, I was being too quiet, BWAHAHAHAHA! She could also tell how much it actually helped. She witnessed first hand through me that small doses are very effective for pain relief, one doesn't need to be "Stoned to the Bone" all the time, and I can do ANY work that someone else can do, provided it is physically possible. I've proven that over the last 40 years!!!!

Follow the money! It's all about the drug companies and control, the FDA has been swapping out directors with former drug company execs for years now. The federal government is a bloated and corrupt organization. Hell, just look at the new dose of Model Id10T's that just got voted in for the first time!!!!!

And that right there is some life long great advice! I figured this out when it was to late. Do not wait until life gives you the ultimate nut punch to make this a priority. If you do, take it from me, nothing worse than getting to that moment and the Oh chit slaps the ever lovin phugg out of you and then you realize you are to handiwrapped to do much about it.

Making that paper is something we all have to have but, its not worth your health or your mental well being. Especially when you can go other places to make it that does support your health and mental well being.

I gave up both my health and mind to my job. It is why I am in the shape I am in. I thought I was doing the right thing. The sad part is while doing it, before the nut punch, I was proud of it. I was the good little worker that could always be counted on no matter what. I was wrong, VERY WRONG. Now, I can not take it back.

Just my OP which does not mean much but I do think the question should be,

Do you love your job coop, well enough that you are willing to give up your quality of life for it, To where you are willing to become a burden to someone else?

I was a neurophysiologist. I had almost a triple digit income, I only worked on average of 24 hours a week, I got to help people. I loved it but was it worth my heart, my brain, the pain I have now on a daily basis, the depression, the fight to survive, the fact of now I have to depend on my wife just to remember to give me my life saving meds and some sort of income. HELL NO. I phugged up major. Do not make my mistake.

Sorry for the book, I just want people to learn from my mistakes and how important their quality of life really is. These companies will in a heart beat take your life from you and not think twice about it after the fact. They will leave you standing with your pecker in your hand going oh chit what now.
