Hi, I'm Gunner, I have a bid problem.

2 weeks ago I was a Drew Estates, give me a Natural Dirt Torpedo and I'm happy. Toss in a Cohiba tubo once in awhile if I'm feeling upscale, or pick one of the most expensive but "never heard of those" cigars out of our local gas stations who knows how well managed wall humidor. Maybe a half dozen cigars in my sweet sweet thesomesons finest generic mail order humidor setup. 🤔

Life was swell. w:d/

Today, I sit here with my finger on the trigger of a half dozen different cigar packages, probably a dozen coming in the mail, and two setups to build tuppadores coming from amazon.

I sniped a guy last night on some Alec Bradley Black Market Vandal's with six seconds to go. 😰

I'm becoming a monster.[argh]

LOL. I saw the "never lose a bid" line tossed around and intellectually got the joke. Yeah. No. That's a thing.

It's time to lay back and enjoy the fruits of my crazed introduction to the CBF world, and let my credit card cool down. Cause if my wife figures out what's happened?

I'm a dead man walking. 😨

So, to close this out, THANK YOU! Thank you all.

LOL. I know. I honestly felt bad for a second about sniping that fiver. I did make sure it wasn't an APO/FPO addy first. But I got them. :D

It's been the ruin of many poor boy
And Lord I know I'm one...

Run. Get stationed somewhere unpleasant where they won't mail cigars. You are entering Dante's Inferno.

There, I've done my duty. I cannot do any more. Just take it from a walking, talking cautionary tale.

That being said, forget the jungle. Last I checked, Wally World had tubs of like 18 liters or so that run about $7-8. They come in different sizes and (depending on the time of year) colors, but basic is just gray. As a Navy man, that is a color that should blend in with about 80% of your usual décor, I'd guess. Some tubs have holes in the handles (which open to the inner tub) and some don't, but you can control the amount of air with a few holes in the handles, cover some with tape if your rh% gets too low, open some if you are finding the rh% is too high. You will either thank or curse me for this info., as you can put a ton of cigars in those things, stack them, etc.

Of course you should buy all of your hygrometers, humidification devices (a couple 4 oz. jars of the blue stuff should cover one tub, so get 3 in case your smokes live in an otherwise arid environment) on this site. And get a decent desktop humidor of say 50 or even 100 (here, como no), to have a decent place for your best sticks, when company comes over, and just because...damn, we all need a little class.

You can't even call it class when it's only you and the tutor...

BTW - When I get set up out west, I'm gonna have AKDave build me a humidor out of an old gun case.
He just doesn't know it yet...

Cigar

Disorder

3 step program for healing:
Step 1 - Admit you have a problem
Step 2 - Embrace it or else you might miss out on a good blend
Step 3 - Smoke the chit out of them to make room for more
