I was driving in Myrtle Creek earlier this week, and I saw a mare with her tail in the air making eyes at the gelding standing behind her. The gelding just stood there. The mare kept waving her upturned tail and occasionally shook her neck to coif her mane.

I sat parked there watching this for all of 30 seconds, transfixed by the strange oddity of what I was seeing. And then it hit me.
