The lure when I landed that bonito was a Shimano Colt Sniper. They work on damn near anything. I've caught rock fish, bonito, yellowtail, bass, and barracuda with 'em.

For bass, northern and musky I kill using an old forgotten lure most no longer use.

Johnson silver minnows of various sizes and colors. I rip a twister tail in half and hook it too it. Easy to cast, weadless, can work different depths, sure hook, great presentation and under appreciated.

That's my personal best, but a baby compared to what you'd catch up in ak...

They taste amazing (not baby seal amazing) but they're not gonna give you an insane fight... More like halibut than salmon in that way...
